Hydra (ヒュドラ Kuzuryu) was a group led by Urabe Osamu until disbanding.

Appearance

All Hydra members were seen to be wearing matching black zip up tracksuit jackets with the school symbol on the chest. They were also shown to have a Hydra pattern shaved into the left side of their head.

Plot

First Years Uprising

Somewhere on the school grounds after beating up a number of students. Urabe Osamu says only the strongest can move upwards and the ones who'll be moving up will be them.

Inside in a classroom Urabe kicks a student whos head crashes through the door window and causes the door to break into the halfway. Stepping into the hallway, he notices Shiiba Gaku and Marumo Taiji. Mentioning they're famous for making the second years riot. Claiming the ones to defeat Shake and become the head of windmill, will be him and Hydra. As Marumo mentions he has a lot of people for a Hydra. Urabe says even if there's a lot of them, no needed to worry, if they want to go up, he'll let them in Hydra. Gaku mentions only one person can be the head and asks the point of getting a bunch of people together. As Gaku threatens to tear their face off if they get near him, no matter how many people he's got. Urabe asks Taiji if he's interested, and asks why not when he declines. Urabe calls Gaku a dog and tells him to use his brain. Mentioning Mukai Shirou is the strongest first year and if nobody can defeat him then they can't go up. He asks for them to lend them a hand in crushing him. Gaku tells them, the windmill is probably something like a belt to them meaning their the baddest guy around but to him its got more shine than that. Urabe questions him.

When Gaku explains his reasoning and that he doesn't have time to focus on small fry like Hydra. Urabe looks at him unimpressed.

As he continues to talk, Urabe flicks his cigarette towards Gaku and he kicks him in the head but he pulls his leg back when Gaku raises his fist to meet his leg. They both clash heads until Urabe begins to walk away. Confronted by Marumo, he sticks a cigarette in his face and tells him not to throw it away like so. Laughing he mentions being unable to get through to them, saying they're just an overeager barking dog and an overeating pig. He warns them about him crushing the both of them. Hydra walks away afterwards.

Outside the gymnasium various members are talking about fight happening inside between Gaku and Shirou, until Taiji takes them by suprise. Meanwhile with the rest of Hydra, Urabe says the bout between should have been decied by now and they'll make both of them kneel infront of them. When Urabe arrives gymnasium he's asked to stop by Taiji sitting on top of other Hydra members. When's he asked if he knows who's inside, Urabe asks if it's Gaku and Shirou. Taiji says that's all the more reason for himself not to let him pass.

Urabe asks if this a joke and if he wants to be eaten alive by Hydra. As Taji counts the number of men and asks if thats everyone in Hydra. One member charges towards him until he is clotheslined. Taji tells Urabe he must be strong, for that many people to be following him and asks why does he surround himself with them. Explaining how Gaku and Shirou stand alone. Urabe asks what's with the tacky crap he's sproutin and tells Hydra to get him. As Hydra begin to outnumber him. Urabe says its only natural for a pack to form around someone with power. Believing the fight to be over he begins to head forward until Taji knocks everyone out. Urabe becomes shocked to see them defeated. Taiji asks Urabe to come at him which annoys him.

Urabe tells Taiji he's done well to get this far, but he doesn't look so good any more. Delivering a kick the chest he tells him to go down as he's an eyesore. Taiji tells him without a pack doesnt he think he could try for head himself, to which he says who gives a damn about trying as thats what Hydra is for and hell take it for sure. With the power of Hydra he'll become head. As Urabe kicks him once again he then grabs him by the hair and knees him the face. Telling him he'll lose and to the power of the group. From a long way back, a long long way back. He's come this far as the head and he's won all the way until now. Urabe kicks Taiji on the back of his head but withstands the attack. Calling his kick rusty he knocks him back with a clothesline and asks him to stand up so he can shake all off his rust.

As Taiji tells Urabge he gave up standing on his own two feet too soon. Urabe tells him to quit acting so great and don't look down on what a gang can do and hits him with multiple kicks. He begins to panic as Taiji gets after being brought to his knees. Until Gaku and Shiro's brawl knocks appears before them knocking Taiji down. As he gets back up Urabe says he doesn't get him, no one was going to thank him for anything so did he stand in his way. Taiji reveals his experience of formerly being a gang leader. When a Hydra member grabs hold of him and tells to Urabe to get him. Urabe asks him to let go of Taiji and get out of the way. Taiji asks him to come at him with everything he's got and he'll return it with everything he's got, Urabe smirks and proceeds to kick him until he is powerbombed into the ground.

When Taiji sugguests that Shiro and Gaku they settle their by fight by taking all of members of Hydra to the infirmary the trio begin carrying them along with only conscious mmember also helping. Later on, inside the infirmary Urabe says they were completely annihalated. When a member asks what he's planning to do with Hydra, he asks for hair clippers and shaves away his hair pattern much to everyones shock and annonces he's breaking it up.
